Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience leading at least 2–3 end-to-end enterprise Snowflake implementations from architecture through production deployment.
- Experience migrating data platforms from traditional data warehouses (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Netezza, etc.) to Snowflake.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable Snowflake architectures for enterprise customers.
- Experience building production-grade ELT/ETL pipelines, data models, and analytics platforms on Snowflake.
- Experience with performance tuning, workload optimization, security, governance, and cost optimization in production Snowflake environments.
- Experience participating in customer-facing architecture discussions, discovery workshops, and solution design.
- Consulting or Systems Integrator (SI) experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and providing architectural guidance
- Define enterprise data architecture, AI architecture, standards, and best practices
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering Generative AI / LLM solutions in enterprise environments
- Experience designing and implementing Generative AI and LLM solutions using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, vector embeddings, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge bases
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs and GPT-based solutions, including LLM integration, embeddings, prompt engineering, and application development
- Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures, vector search, semantic search, and AI-powered enterprise applications
- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities with enterprise data platforms, APIs, applications, and cloud services
Good-to-Have Skills
- AI governance, responsible AI, LLM security, data privacy, prompt-injection protection, and AI observability
- Data Sharing and Data Marketplace implementations
- Prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, and LLM evaluation/optimization.
- Enterprise LLM/RAG implementations, AI Agents, Agentic AI, AI copilots, conversational AI, or intelligent enterprise search
- AI/ML or Generative AI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.

Job Summary
rSTAR Technologies is seeking highly experienced Snowflake Data Architect with OpenAI experience combines deep technical expertise in Snowflake, Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, Generative AI, and OpenAI technologies with strong customer-facing and consulting skills. This role will support both pre-sales engagements and project delivery, helping customers design modern cloud data platforms while working closely with account executives, delivery teams, and technology partners. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems using data and AI, presenting solutions to executives, conducting technical workshops, designing solutions. Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Cloud Data Platforms, Data Architecture, and AI/ML solutions, with hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and OpenAI technologies
Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Account Executives during customer pursuits.
- Lead discovery workshops to understand customer data strategy and business objectives.
- Design modern data platform architectures centered around Snowflake.
- Create solution architecture diagrams, estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs), and implementation of roadmaps.
- Present technical solutions to customer architects, IT leadership, and executives.
- Demonstrate Snowflake capabilities including: o AI Data Cloud o Cortex AI o Native Apps o Data Sharing o Marketplace o Governanc
- Support RFPs, RFIs, and proposal responses.
- Work closely with Snowflake account teams on joint customer opportunities.
- Lead architecture and implementation of enterprise Snowflake solutions.
- Define enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Design scalable data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Build ingestion frameworks using modern ELT/ETL patterns.
- Implement data governance, security, masking, RBAC, and compliance.
- Guide engineering teams through implementation. ,Review architecture, code, and performance optimization. , Mentor Data Engineers and technical leads
- Architect enterprise Generative AI and LLM solutions using Snowflake data and modern AI platforms. ,Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs, GPT models, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, and LLM application development. , Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions connecting enterprise data with LLMs.
